I have recently created a Flash version of the Atari 2600 game "Adventure", mainly based on the 6502 disassembly of the original rom. This flash version is ridiculously faithful, I've played it side by side with Stella using the same input.

Excellent... awesome work. ^_^
You should think about a next game, perhaps Pitfall?

That dragon still looks like a duck to me...

Absolutely. Can't forget about room 0x15.

This has to be the most accurate flash port I've ever seen!

Yes, quite cool. Go into a wall and you jiggle like the real thing. Would be cool if some tools were written to help automate future asm->flash conversions like this.

You should have provided a health and safety warning for that green crap that follows you even trough screens, I almost made a hearth attack when I noticed this thing were following me everywhere, forcing me to eventually quit the game.

Piping hot. Definitely one of the coolest swfs i've seen.
Any chance at releasing the flash-side code?

I've posted the source. It took somewhat an object-oriented design, but it really takes advantage of the only way to do references in flash: movie clips.

I see nothing unusual about that screenshot.

I've only played the game a bit on the atari, so wouldn't know, just thought it odd (also, it was flashing). Still not sure of the point of the game, guess it's just find keys, unlock castle, avoid dragon (well, looks more like a duck to me...)
