strange there was a page about it before with image of the pcb and some info. I guess the page wasn't ready for launch yet?

Ah finally the news has come out! bunnyboy was gracious enough to send me one to test out a while back and I've given it a good workout, and it works great! Was good timing too, because I had just gotten a new PC, and it had no parallel port :) Much more stable and error-free communication, it was very annoying in the par port version to be stepping thru something in MicroBug and then have the connection stall on you!

My NES cart DB software already supports this transparently, if it doesn't detect CopyNES on the par port, it will automatically switch to USB mode.

Has he mentioned when it's available for order?

Not specifically, AFAIK though, it should be available very soon. I think he originally intended to have it ready for purchase a month or so ago.

Ok. Then if I'm lucky it's ready for order at the end of the month when I get paid ;)

The only problem is that I don't like the idea of cutting up a Nintendo system and or throwing the parts away.

bunnyboy rocks, I hope he is at least breaking even off of all of the hard work. Now, can we get a USB FDS Loader? :)

Music to my ears, Jagasian, music to my ears.

The problem with FDS loader is that it's SUPER timing sensitive, from what Kyuusaku tells me. A USB solution would never work, as far as I know, at least not using the same software code. Kyuusaku can explain it better than me, but I think if you were to build some external logic to take this issue away from the PC itself it could be done, but not with simple FDSLoadr cables, which have really nothing to them, just wires.

BTW, I just bought one. I don't think the button was there 5 minutes ago when I started my post.

I can't wait for .FDS for use on powerpack.

I got my USB CopyNES a week or so ago... I don't know when I'll get around to installing/testing it.

Does anyone know if/where there will be a new batch of PowerPak's?

You'll be waiting forever because it's not really plausible. Bunnyboy'll need to make a separate FDSPak.

Right, the idea is that he is making one of these, last I knew.
