That's pretty cool :D
While on the subject.. wasn't there someone here with similar plans?
Anyone know what the status of that project is?
Sorry for misspellings, I'm from Sweden ^^

If you're referring to the ROM...see "Baidu blogs"? It's a link, click on it. You should see a Chinese site. Click on "http://tszone.ys168.com" - but make sure you use Internet Explorer...when I tried it with Firefox, it complained that I should use Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater. On the right, click on "[发布]FC Roms" - that's a folder with a bunch of ROM links. You should find "[NJ063] Final Fantasy VII.rar 441KB". Note that there seems to be some bandwidth and/or time limits (either to all users or personal, I can't really tell).

EDIT: "[NJ075] He Xin Wei Ji.rar 440KB" is another, more recently dumped version of the game - so far, the only difference I notice is that the title screen graphic is grey instead of blue.

I think you're talking about Celius, but I haven't seen him around lately.

Has the mapper (iNES #163) been properly reverse engineered? It's emulated in Nestopia, but implemented kinda weird, eg. doing a 4K chr bankswitch at the start of hblank on scanline 127.
