This is a great forum. I learned a lot from the people here.
I tested a rom I made using code that was pieced together from the input given to me in my posts (using the gamepad, etc.)
Very inspiring to have something actually work on a real NES.
Since my last post I've been reading some 6502 books and bought an Atari 600xl just for practicing coding on.
Thanks again to all the help here, very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Yup, the Rodney Zakks book, 4th edition.
I've read that there were some errors and confusion in the previous editions, but the 4th ed. is good.
Another good one I just received is "6502 Software Design" by Leo Scanlon.
"Atari Roots" by Mark Andrews is a very good book for us beginners.
What are you reading?

Congrats on getting something going. I know it's pretty cool when you get the system to do what you want (when your program is more than a few lines long, heheh).
I have a 6502 book by Leo Scanlon also, "6502 Subroutines", I think it was called. Kinda odd book with 90% of it it being specific subroutines, but I picked up a few tricks from it.
