I have been crawling the docs here and learning 6502 since january.

I am wondering if anyone has installed a copyNES board and also used this mod:

I would like to develop and perform music on the same nintendo, and the "stereo" mod gives more flexibility when using a single 2A03.

Will CopyNES's CPU re-situating change the APU's path to the NES board?

Though the copynes does require desoldering the CPU which DOES contain all the sound hardware, it shouldn't cause any problems.
