Making a reproduction multicart for NES?

I was wondering if somehow making a reproduction multicart was possible? Some multicarts are rare and expensive.
Also how about a reproduction cart with many games of the same mapper onto one cart?
thanks!

Sure "reproductions" of anything are possible.
For same mapper multicarts it's easy, you just need a lot of 8-bit memory and to allocate a little space on the program ROM to store the menu.

I couldn't find a tutorial of making your own reproduction carts. Anyone know of one?

If you have a droppingsload of NROM or CNROM games, you can probably mapper hack them to GNROM or Color Dreams. For example, SMB1/Duck Hunt uses a GNROM-compatible board. Or you could mapper hack them to S*ROM and use 32 KiB PRG bank mode, like
Forbidden Four does. For games that use a more powerful mapper, you'd have to put them on a "super-mapper" which controls the higher address lines, like official multis
ZZ and
QJ do. SUROM acts kinda-sorta this way as well.

NES emulators do support pirate multicarts and their strange mappers, so I guess the roms are available somewhere
You will have to re-create the mapper yourself, but it is usually made of simple chips. See Kevtris's site for more info

I have no programming skills, so i'd rather try my hand at making a repro cart instead.

Making a "repro" of a multicart isn't very possible unless you already have the cartridge for it's mapper which defeats the purpose.
If you roll your own multicart, you'll need both software and hardware skills. Which games you want on the multicart and whether or not they'll need to be altered will determine the complexity.
