Hey,

So I got the PGM burned to a 27c040 and it's wired up fine. The CHR is only 8k and I doubled it up to 32k and burned it to a 27c256 but I'm unsure of how to wire the 27c256 as the CHR on this MMC3 board. Any help would be great.

I don't know about this particular board and ROM hack, but the first place I'd check are the CHR address outputs from the MMC3. CHR A13 and A14 in particular.

Other factors are involved, if you're converting from a CHR-RAM board then you have other CHR lines you may need to connect to the MMC3 (they kind of pass-through the MMC3), that just depends on how the ROM does the bankswitching.

You'll have to check the MMC3 pinout mostly, trace how it's hooked up the CHR.
