Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find a link to your work anywhere, and it seems super exciting! Publish that stuff more man!...
And how would you compare this to famitracker?
Cheers!

You mean music he has made, or just publicizing this program around gaming blogs? Because his music is all available at the same site he's been linking.

I think it's pretty clear how it compared to Famitracker, UI-wise. Obviously editing is a lot slower without a mouse and keyboard, and it's tough to fit all the same kind of information on the screen at once. I suppose we know less about the scope of instrument-creation options and such.

Yay! Thanks for actually releasing something on April Fools. I was so wary, I downloaded and even made sure it ran before posting thanks for putting it out.

Thanks for putting it out!

I would think that an April 1st release should have a certain Rick Astley song preloaded.

Looks great! I haven't had time to read through the manual yet, but that looks really nice too.

Awesome. Unfortunately (as you said in the readme) its not working on my PAL NES - the interface seems to work but there's no sound. I guess I have to go emu for now. Will there be PAL support in a feature release? :)

How odd!

I did a test by setting the relevant flag in the iNES header of the ROM to force it to be PAL and it worked OK in Nestopia (though the pitch and speed was obviously "wrong").

Does anyone know why there might be no audio output running NTSC NTRQ on a PAL NES?

hm seems to be something else wrong, tried bubble bobble and no sound

sorry about that.. but still any plans for a PAL "corrected" release later? ^_^

edit: apparently there was something wrong with the TV settings for the NES channel.. I wonder how that happened :S

Phew, I went into a mild panic there for a moment :)

PAL version? Yes, definitely.
