Aha. I made the order, and got the status 'shipped' 1 week ago. That means I'm probably getting a faulty SNES Powerpak and have to send it back?

Well buhu, I hope it won't be the hassle some other oversea customers have had.

Good ol' time will show. :)

So is this statement from the front page still accurate?

Yep, and amusingly, it's still the same design I'm picking up on again (or will be anyways, after Garage Cart #2 is out the door). It's kinda sad but also funny looking at the PCB saying (C)2004 on it.
Should there also be links to RetroZone?
Yeah, there definitely should be. But if the PowerPak is to be mentioned, I'd avoid describing it as a dev cart because purely from a devcart point of view, I believe it has some shortcomings. Though it's a step up from the Willem burner that many people use, particularly in the ease-of-use department.

Yeah, the lack of permanent connectivity to your PC is pretty lacking from a devcart point of view. On the other hand, I think that combining it with your joypad serial cable and a modified boot ROM would eliminate those shortcomings. And I guess using a USB copyNES would do the same, even if its a little more pricey.

Myself, I've been too lazy to try out either yet... I guess I will look into it if I ever get into the process of designing my own mapper hardware. :)
