SNES Tracker / MOD player?

Hi. I am very new to SNES development so my questions might sound rather stupid:
1. Is there a MOD player for the SNES? (There is pretty much no reason for there not being one)
2. If not, is there a sound tracker for the SNES?
Thanks in advance,

Not a stupid question at all, I used to wonder why there wasn't one myself.
There is an XM player. I converted some of my songs to it successfully. The main issue you'll run into is sample loop length, but it's not too hard to deal with.

Also I'd heard that N-Warp Daisakusen has a mod player in it's source. I haven't dug very deeply into the sources myself though.

Thanks!
XMSNES is pretty cool. Though arpeggios sound all wrong, so, it is not suitable for chiptunes
So pretty much you can indirectly have a Module tracker as a SNES tracker, how clever
I am maintainer for a
similar app for the rival system of the SNES, only that it's more complicated, due to FM Synthesis

Nice, XM3SMPS seems pretty good. I just tried it and was able to convert to the PSG channels, but didn't figure out the FM part just yet.

Yeah, xm-play doesn't have proper support for all effects.
My player (used in N-Warp Daisakusen) does, with the exception of sample finetune (period-tables waste too much space IMO). However, I have yet to make a converter publicly available.

It would benefit any SNES homebrew creators greatly to have more options for easily adding sound and music support to their creations without having to build their own SPC program and programs to convert to their program's format. That's really a big reason why I never continued very far with the NES as I was not interested in writing a sound & music engine and there was none available that was suitable for a game.

I wrote an IT player (with limited features) for my last snes game. Sources and stuff can be found here:
