Wiki Favicon

What about using a custom favicon for the wiki?
Today, it is the same as the one of this forum, which makes it impossible to distinguish which one leads to the forum, and which one leads to the wiki.

As I don't have any graphical design skill, I purpose to set the wiki favicon in red.

What do you think about this idea?

In the beginning, there was no favicon for the wiki. During the last update of the software, I decided to add the favicon of nesdev to show it's "identity".

Once we have a chance, yes, we should think about a favicon for the site. It just that the space is quite cramped to make something original

They are quite good, but I think the black color is not necessary. What about using a canal alpha instead?

I like the one written wiki. I'm fine with the black background.

You're right, I do find the Nintendo logo with a white background as well (I was guess I was looking at the back of the Player's Guide laying nearby, and it's black). By "canal alpha" do you mean an alpha channel? I'm not experienced doing alpha masking, so I'll let someone else pick up where I've left off.

Well, white turns out to look fine. I figured the red would look too light:

Yes I was talking about alpha channel (canal is the french word for channel...)
