Such a list would be a good tool for testing emulators in development.
It would ideally include information like:
- Mapper number
- Name table mirroring used
- Type of scrolling used ( during vblank, mid-frame, mid-scanline ) / Split screen
- Sprite size
- Bank size (in the case of mappers that admit variable sizes or quantities of CHR/PRG banks)
- Bank switching used
- etc.
If no such list exists, I will build one as l progress in testing my emu, and add it to the wiki.
edit: much of this info is already on http://www.datacrystal.org/wiki/Category:NES_games
Is there a game list with its characteristics? mapper, etc..

Bootgod's database might help for the games which use hardwired mirroring.
Even though Rygar uses vertical mirroring, it can still scroll vertically in some places.
How would you list games which use DMC IRQs to split the screen (Time Lord)?
