Isn't this basically what the SIDstation does, sans the organ (thus allowing you to use a MIDI input device of your choice)?

SIDstation has the SID chip, which has some analogue parts, but basically, yeah it's really similar. The Squeedo synth I had been coding can be used the same way, it takes MIDI input. It's also similar in that I'll be using an MCU, totally different type though (and 32-bit instead of 8-bit).

Having it built into one of these cheap common organs is really cool, though. More info is here:
