An extra-long URL can widen the layout and lead to horizontal scrolling in a browser window that is roughly 1000 pixels wide. This includes browsers on older PCs (like a family member's), browsers on netbooks (like mine), and browsers running in Tile Vertically or Windows 7 Snap on a 1080p monitor.
