looking for info on patching a Just Breed cart EKROM

I want to put patched translated roms in my Just Breed famicom cart but I'm not sure how to wire the cart to work with eproms(actually I have a single 27c040 and about a dozen pm29f002's which don't seem to work when wired like a 27c020)

I will answer as it seems you bought the original cart.
The EPROMs are identical to any other Nintendo game, that is the modification should in theory be the same as for a TLROM board.
The only difference is that with the MMC5 there is room for 1024k PRG and CHR chips, that no game ever used as far I know. It's just a matter of normally unused pins that would be used for A19, that you don't use anyway

hmmm I'm having trouble
I have only replaced the PRG so far but I should get the game to boot with corrupt graphics at least with the original CHR chip in place right?
I've tried just a direct to the board without rewire (like some konami boards) and got just a purple screen
tried wiring it as a TKrom (all the T?rom should be the same right?) and again.. purple screen.
the game does work and I got the original prg out as cleanly as possible so I can replace it. because I figured this would be a tricky one.
