Mck with win7 64 bit

Post by alex5097 »

Hey guys,
I'm trying to set up mck on a win7 64 bit machine and ran into an issue. I used nullsleep's guide to set everything up but since win7 64 bit has no 16 bit support I can't use nesasm. Is there any other compiler I can use with this setup / how would I edit the build.bat? Sorry If this is an incredibly noobish question, I'm a musician not a programmer

Use DOSBox for running your 16 bit software.

Awesome thank you! I completely forgot about dosbox. Think it should solve my problem.

I run ppmck on win7 64-bit with no problems. Maybe upgrade your version of NESASM?

that's my mumml / ppmck folder, requires perl to run the .PL script. There should be a copy of NESASM in there under PPMCK too.

Awesome, I'll check it out. Dosbox was working but that sounds much more convenient. By te way, RushJet your stuff is pretty great, I really dig the megaman 9.5 album.
