War in the Gulf NSF

Post by Gil-Galad »

Whoever has a copy of the ROM and/cart. I'm wondering if you can check this NSF to see if all the tunes are there and if they are playing right. I'd also like to know if there are credits in the game somewhere. Since I don't have the CHR-ROM part of the file and therefore, it's unplayable.

B00daW has the cart and he dumped the PRG-ROM part of the game. Of course, the main problem was dumping the CHR-ROM so I don't have a good dump and I won't be releasing it of course.

So far I'm counting 8 tunes. According to the code, there is one bank with the music data and that's what I have so far. Since I don't have a good dump I can't go and play the game all the way through.

I only have a cart, but I think that's all tunes of the game, but I play it on a PAL system so they sound a bit weird to me.

This ROM still hasn't surfaced?! The CHR ROM in this cart was a huge pain in the ass as detailed in another post http://nesdev.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=7106 but it has been successfully dumped more than once http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/search.p ... wtype=game

Do you have a new version of your dumping database software available yet?

Nope, I have so far not found the ROM at all. Nor do I know who has it.

Yes and No :P I don't have it posted on the site publicly because I feel a few things are more complicated than they need to be and I have ideas to improve this but I just haven't had the time to get to it. If your anxious to use it, send me a PM and we can probably work something out.

[sanitized]

[Do we need to be requesting and trading ROMs on this board? --MOD]

EDIT2: Sorry, should have read the rules first. My bad.
