Do you know if the pirate mapper version can do the star thing !? I am curious. I own the pirate version of it and never tryed to beat the game many time !

I don't know, there's more than one pirate version. The one I worked with was hacked to always have all the stars unlocked.

It saves the same way the original game did (you get another star on the title screen each time you beat the game).

There is also Doppelganger's SMB2j disassembly, which can be used to remake the cartridge conversion by loopy,
Other than modifying it to:
- Moving stuff around for proper bank usage
- Optimize ROM and RAM usage (Removing unneeded/unused content)
- Remove (and replace if nessicary) FDS-specific registers
- redoing the IRQ routine or re-add sprite 0
- Seperate both the sound engines
- Move the parts of PRG that save to the RAM use $6000-7FFF (Battery Save RAM)
- Convert the CHR to ROM
... and other stuff
It is possible to use MMC1 or MMC3 to do a port
