I can't seem to find any.
I checked YouTube, VGMDb, even OCRemix, but either the
Main Theme I'm looking for hasn't been done or it hasn't been done justice.

Thank you!

That one is by far the most awesome one I've heard.

I made a MIDI file of one of the in-game songs and then a few songs on AdLib.

You wouldn't happened to have uploaded that MIDI to VGMusic did you?

Years ago I remember hearing an Aphex Twin song that sounded similar to one from Shadowgate, I haven't been able to find the song since then, though. Could have been coincidental or something else, I don't know. But I think it was the music that plays when your torch is burning out.
On another note, in Uninvited, the music it plays before you talk to the lady in the hallway, I heard that song (or the exact same melody) on the radio when I scanning through stations (on an oldies station). Anyone know what that was?

I've noticed that lots of NES music sounds like snips of 70's and 80's rock music. I'm not really good with titles (of music), and I've not written any down, but I do recall that Castlevania II has some background music that sounds like a riff from a Heart song (or was if ELO, 'Don't get me down Bruce')?

I don't think this is a coincidence - Ryu Hayabusa also looks like Leonard Whiting here:

This wasn't the track from CV-II that I was thinking of, but I definitely can here the similarities. The NES sound is simpler, of course. The frequency ramp up in notes followed by the rapid drop is eerily like the hair-band guy's rendition.

SNES rather than NES, but I recently found out about
this and
this (and the
remix)
