I'm trying to use a standard EPROM (actually, it's a Flash-ROM), but i'm unable to discover what traces must I cut and where I must make a connection

I've seen that page from the wiki: http://wiki.nesdev.com/w/index.php/Mask_ROM_pinout , but I don't understood what is that "MMC5" and the others two "CHR" and "PRG"

PRG ROM (for "program") is the ROM connected to the CPU. CHR ROM (for "character") is the ROM connected to the PPU. As for MMC5, start by reading MMC.

What game are you trying to put on the ELROM board?

I'm trying to put the japanese version of that game: Castlevania 3, to enable the additional audio channels. I've already connected the resistor on the expansion port, and soldered the components for audio on the ELROM

Japanese CV3 will not run on an MMC5 mapper. Instead, it requires a VRC6 mapper.

I guess I already said it a few times, but breaking carts is BAD, BAD, BAD !
Especially a rare Casltevania III PAL cart.

You just have to write a ELROM homebrew game to repair that.

PAL? It's a NTSC USA in fact, becase it was cheaper

Actually, I live in a PAL zone but I have more NTSC games than PAL (well, nearly all of the games I have are pirate multicarts :P )
