That depends on how much free time you have
Oh,yeah, that right.Well...not much, that's because of my brothers, sister and...Metin2Thay can play it for hour and still demand for more.Because of this my time is strict and limited.
Isn't it a bit late to start coding/drawing/composing? =)
Maybe, but there's one thing: my determination.I'v already(when not at PC) wrote some code in notepad using pen.I'm rewriting it to PC right now, same for grafics.I WANT do it.I'm not going to give up.
...All this mess is because of my dictionary.By accident it translated me June as July.I was thinking I still have 2 months

I kept thinking it was still April, for like a week. Not only messed me up on the competition, I had a crapload of things to fix at work :)

I'm hoping there will be at least enough entries for all the prizes. I'll take partial responsibility in not having things solidified soon enough. Hopefully next year there will be more people. Regardless, my hope is to give incentive to finish projects. You see so many good starts, and people talking about there games, but most of them never see the light.

Good luck to everyone.... I should also note that I still hope to submit an entry, but decided last minute to take a summer class, so maybe add me to the "Who isn't submitting an entry" list :P

I feel kinda bad about this, when the subject first cropped up I didn't really care about it, but now I think I'd like to enter. I had a good idea for a simple game but I don't know if I have time now.

I guess if I actually end up finishing it, it could be entered next year, if the contest happens again.

Yeah I'm sure it'll happen next year too, it seems pretty decent at getting people motivated, and I think even with a modest turnout we'll be able to raise some decent funds for prizes and interesting stuff.

Still some time before the deadline, no one said it has to be a masterpiece to enter. :P

I really want to make a simple platformer for the competition, using some code from my main project in order to speed things up. I doubt I'll make the deadline, but I'm sue I'll have fun trying.

Actually it seems there are quite a few people who forgot about this and aren't sure they can finish by June 1.

Any chance of extending the deadline another month? Or would it not be worth it if it only resulted in 2 or 3 more entries?

I think there's a few entries we don't know about probably and we should just let this one go. Then by next year everyone'll probably have something worked up to release for the contest :) I deff. will have a game done for it by then. :D

I'll second that. I'm sure most of us are waist deep in ambitious projects we'd LIKE to finish, but you can save that for next years :)
