This is a cool demo, even if it is a Rickroll (you have been warned).

Edit: Ugh, has to be copied and pasted, as BBcode doesn't seem to like the pipes in the Rapidshare url...

Alternatively, you can get it off of smwcentral.net, but there it's in the form of a Super Mario World patch, as part of the joke.

Thing is, I can't get the sound working on the Powerpak. I did my best to make the thing PowerPak compatible by padding it to exactly 32 megs and so on, which made it run, but something is still wrong (perhaps with the SPC-700 streaming) and the sound comes out as awful static. The developer (Smallhacker at SMW Central) has tested it in bsnes' accuracy mode, where it supposedly works, so I'm wondering if anyone in here is willing to perhaps test it on other devices (Tototek, Neo, Everdrive) or to otherwise take a stab at what might be wrong.

This would be a tech demo to rival N-Warp and the blargg audio demo, if only it worked. :D

Doesn't work on Snes9X, gets the sound problem, and if I remember, BSNES sucks, haha. Good luck getting it to work though! Do they not have good SNES tools yet, as this is a hack off of smw....??

I seriously doubt it's actually a SMW hack though, or I wouldn't have posted the URL to the ROM. You could make a patch to turn SMW into Chrono Trigger if you wanted, but that doesn't mean Chrono Trigger is a SMW hack.
