Identify Donor Boards for SNES

Post by mysteriousity »

Hi Guys,

I recently made a Zelda Parallel Worlds Repro for a friend and used an NBA live 95 cart which had a SHVC-2A3m-11 board in it. This worked great. I went to make another one for a friend and when I opened up another NBA Live 95 it had a different board in it - SHVC-2A3m-20

Will this work? I really don't want to waste the game if it's not compatible.

Thanks!

Do the boards look the same, or at least have the same number/type of parts? The -11 and -20 probably just indicate slight manufacturing revisions. I can't imagine the two using incompatible ROMs, unless one of them uses fewer chips than the other.
