The awesome Story

Post by bazz »

I was walking down the city streets, GDSF7 in hand... The sun is out, it is a beautiful day... I am going to take this awesome device to the post office...

On my way, I feel thirsty, so I hop in Dunkin Donuts... A young teen boy sees what I am holding and goes hey what's that?! "This lets you play games from your computer on the Super Nintendo :P" Of course I had to give the most generic explanation... Young boy says, ":O Ooo I love Mario Party!" - Insolent human has no idea what Super Nintendo is....Older woman hears me and goes "It was me & Pacman on atari all night!! i used to kick everyone to bed so I could play that hsit!" - me: lol

After this visit I return to my walk, realizing that I am carrying a device which practically no man that I have ever physically interacted with has any knowledge about...SNES developers - an interspersed elite clan of members strung minimally throughout the world, who for some reason are so caught by the system's novelty and aura, are still intrigued by it to this day..

this 1 goes out to you,
*SaLUTE*

You can't be that surprised. We are actually a pretty small group.

I still have my SF7, I have replaced it with TotoTeks Flash cart then the PowerPak, but I doubt I will ever be able to part with it.

Some of the used game stores around me are wayyy worse than that. There's a store here named Chumleigh's, and a few years back I had to argue there were no Sonic games on Nintendo 64... like seriously, c'mon.
Or when I talk to people about NES, and they're like "Um, is that before or after Ocarina of Time came out?"
I honestly wish I was joking, but that's what happens when you live in a hick town called Peterborough *sigh*
I am the one that hunts you in the darkness...

Even the Able Sisters weren't in Dōbutsu no Mori for Nintendo 64; they debuted in DnM+ for GameCube.

There are two ways to deal with people who measure time relative to Zelda releases: memorize the release dates, or just memorize the release order of the first nine non-CD-i Zelda games:
  1. The Legend of Zelda
  2. The Adventure of Link
  3. A Link to the Past
  4. Link's Awakening
  5. Ocarina of Time
  6. Majora's Mask
  7. Oracle of Seasons
  8. Oracle of Ages
  9. The Wind Waker
Thus "Ocarina was Zelda 5; the NES had Zelda 1 and 2." And if they say Majora's Mask was Zelda 2, tell them they're Gannon-banned.
