NSF SNES source and confusing code

Post by Hamtaro126 »

The Main code needs to be recreated for Memblers' old NSF player for SNES.

Originally it was to be recreated in CA65 by Lint (Who has never finished it, nor will he continue more SNES Dev stuff).

The thing is I am making a hack of SMB1 to SNES, I need it for use for music/sound

_Mic will possibly do such, But I think I can't count on that unless he is willing. (and will need Memblers' request and credit if you want source code as issued by him.)

EDIT: Note that the code is a BIG Mess! So that is the reason, along with the fact that it uses the compatible, but old X816 Assembler

I thought Nintendo already did that in 1993.

What's 2+2? Mario. What's the capital of Ohio? Mario.

That has no source yet, But I'm doing a redone SMBDIS with SNES code, as a source distro!

So the project is a proof of concept SNES port of SMBDIS. Perhaps you could at least pilfer the SPC driver from All-Stars.

I have no disassembly of any N-SPC, Maybe I should use the code that I wish to not use. (IT2SPC aka SNESMOD)

Or use one of Mic's SPC conversion processes, but it's difficult!
