Hi, I'm new here.

I want to create a cartmod here and I need some help please.

What is the best programmer for 29f032 and 27c801?

Is this Willem 5.0 enough? Is this GQ-4X Willem Programmer a good choice?

Does the pcb III from buyICnow is the one I should choose? Or is type I or II? What's the differences?

And how can I fit this pcb in the Willem? What adapter do I need?

Is there a programmer where I can fit the 29f032 directly?

Another question. Some games have 2 Rom chips (or more), so in this cases how could I replace this 2 chips (or more) by one 29f032 chip?

I'm asking because I have a Chrono Trigger game (US) and I want to translate this game to my first language (portuguese), and the Chrono cart has 2 Rom chips. All texts I found only uses a donor cart, and I want to use the same cart, only translating the game.

Sorry for so many questions, but I'm starting now and I (and other) will apreciate any help.

Thanks....

I passed on this programmer, but its a good entry level model. Its better than the cheapy 30 dollar version and I thought it supported 64 bit systems.

The pcb from buyicnow, from what I understand is that both II and III will work. II had two address lines reversed, but the address line doesn't matter so either should work.

You need a TSOP to dip adaptor, they can be found here in the US for $110 ish or $50 ish from china.
