Ancient, but useful 6502 C compiler?

Post by acuozzo »

I know many of you feel that HLLs and the NES don't mix, but I figured that I'd be doing the community a disservice if I didn't share what I stumbled across today.

That is, the: Manx Axtec CG65 MS-DOS Cross Development Software for 65xx-based Systems!

It's available at http://www.aztecmuseum.ca/compilers.htm#applecross and I've verified that it does execute on Windows XP (32-bit). I haven't yet assembled anything, so I don't know if it'll work at all for NES development. Furthermore, I don't know if it's any better than CC65.

I will try to post updates to this thread, but my time is limited nowadays. :(
