English isn't my mother-language... so... sometime ago, it was asked "how do you speak Samus". :) So, I had an "idea".

Heck, how do you speak "wiki"? Is like "why + kee" or similar to "weeky"?

I pronounce it like it rhymes with Micky, same as the last poster.

Note that in US English, "fit" and "feet" do not sound the same.

Go to this page and hit the little sound button next to the word 'wiki'.

It's not "Waikiki" (why key key). "Waikiki" has an A in it, the vowel that makes you open up and say [a:].

Wiki wiki wiki wiki! (Shut up!)

"weeky"? That's option #2? In the spoken example, it's like "wicky". "ee" is too drawn out, unless you're trying to sound funny or cute.

Or speaking with a Brazilian accent? I haven't heard any Romance language accents that don't merge pit and Pete.

This is Pit.

This is Pete.

They both have wings, and they can both be seen in Smashville on occasion.
