29f032 alternative?

anyone knows and alternate memory to the 29f032 ? preferably if it is over 4MB?

does the M29F032D

works? (well even if its not 4MB)

All *24F032* parts are the same, the letters around them indicate manufacturer and speed.

The AM* parts are made by AMD (now Spansion), the M* parts are made by ST. They are the two most common manufacturers of 5V Parallel 4Mx8 parts.

You could use a 2Mx16 part with some shift registers, but that adds quite a bit of complexity to most designs.
