That's the one where you can shoot the dog, right?

Stupid question, since I don't know anything about the VS games, what's the memory layout for them? Do any of those games need mappers or something?

"plain" VS system games are almost identical to CNROM, but rather than using a register mapped from $8000-$FFFF, they instead use the 4s bit of the writeable register at $4016.
VS. Gumshoe is an exception, as are any that use daughtercards instead of just ROMs.

Sorry for the bump here but was wondering is there a patch or way to play vs balloon fight on a unisystem since the only available game i can find is dualsystem?
