First time I see this thread. I would be interested since I never had the chance to play half-life 2 when it came out but these days I don't have time to touch my pc at home so I don't know if I could play it. How does it work to get that "gift" since I don't have a steam account yet.

FIRST YOU MAKE STEAM ACCOUNT AND THEN YOU PM ME!

HAVE YOU PLAY HALF-LIFE 1 YET? OTHErwise the plot might not make any sense etc.

I played HL2 before I ever played HL1. I think it makes perfect sense on its own.

If you buy Half-Life 2, don't you get a fan-made remake of the first half of Half-Life 1 ("Black Mesa Mod") for free?

But then I understand why there's no Half-Life 3: 1 was the first Half and 2 was the second Half; thus the Life is complete.

So what you're saying is there's never going to be a Half Life 2 Episode 3. It's going to be Half Life 2 Episode 2 Chapter 1 and Half Life 2 Episode 2 Chapter 2?

I did finish HL1, it feel like ages now.

I will try to find some time to create an account then. I'm very busy these days with the kids so it may take a little bit of time before I get back in touch. Thank you for the offer, it's nice of you. Good thing I ended up on that thread by accident ;)
