I am trying to make a translated reproduction of this game called S.T.E.D., which is sorta like Phantasy Star.
but... I am confused about what donor cart I need to use . I think I need to use Willow. Using the available pcb lists. But I dont recall that Willow had a save battery.

Many of us here we try to encourage you to either use a PowerPak, a ReproPak, or some other new hardware instead of sacrificing old stuff.

But if you really are going to insist on sacrificing old hardware, something that already has a battery is probably an easier place to start.

If you do it on a PowerPak, then you can share it with people. If you build it out of a donor Willow cart - then you will have the only one in existence. That's cool, but not very interesting.
