Haven't posted here in awhile but i found this on ebay and though someone would dig it:

Interesting find. Lets hope it gets into the hands of someone on here who can translate it to English for us. :)

Even Micronics-class performance (12 to 20 fps) would be enough to acquaint someone with the concepts involved in a platformer as a step toward building a portfolio.

That book is written in Chinese, not Japanese. It may just be a copy of one of the Fami BASIC's instruction manuals or tutorials.

Possibly just another book pir... translated by the Taiwanese at that time. Starting from USD120 it probably isn't worth it.

I've contacted the seller on eBay to let him know that the book in question is indeed in Chinese, not Japanese. (I can read some of it, but the photos are awful)
