Hello friends I have a doubt, my cartridge megaman 6 board broke and my question is this. Megaman 6 uses a board tg-rom and I have a board ts-rom, would be possible to make a reproduction with this board, removing the chip chr and prg adding only, I say that this game requires only prg file, does not require the chr

I know these three:
- You would need to replace the PRG ROM with an EEPROM. This requires rewiring to make the pinout match.
- You would need to replace the CHR ROM with a 6264 SRAM.
- Some T*ROM boards are missing some of the pins in the middle of the edge connector. One of those pins is required to make CHR RAM games such as Mega Man 4, Mega Man 6, and Ninja Crusaders work.

The cartridge broke? What exactly broke? Open the game and check for corrosion or more likely broken circuit traces. Broken traces can be repaired usually. Once fixed the game will work perfectly again. Since you have the original MaskROM, your game is definitely saveable. You don't need any eprom.
If the board cannot be fixed, you could possibly get a new one. But first check the board it is on now. Take high resolution pictures and post them. Both sides of the board.

I guess the keyword is
... to make reproduction...

Well he mentioned the board broke. He didn't till now mention the MaskROM was destroyed. I don't know how you managed the total destruction of the game. So this is back to our usual, how do I bootleg games, type of post.

What a surprise. That was partly why I was asking for the board picture, I knew there was none. Seriously man, stop being such a cheapstake trying to make reproduction of a game you could get for about 30$ on ebay geez.

This guy probably never had any broken Mega Man cart in the first place, it was just a lame excuse to get people to tell him how to make a reproduction. Because he can't even figure this by himself.

is very easy for you to get things on ebay, just because you live in United States, but there are many people like me who do not have the ease of getting things, I live in Mexico and I believe me here is not easy to get these cartridges and talking board of the mask ROM megaman 6 broke, the reason for the breakup is that my son took the cartridge and put it on the floor of the garage and start the car and move it crush the cartridge with a rim, uncover and verify the card was made pieces end up throwing it out the day yesterday, luckily I found the same board only change the prg of megaman 4 for a eprom megaman 6 prg
I think it was a mistake to ask for help here I can only say thanks for nothing

When people show up here and take information here and fake games they can't get and then also ebay them for ludicrous amounts of money, you have them to blame. We're tired of it, so we really don't care. This is a forum of progress and software/hardware development, not forgery.
Good riddance, I guess. Sorry for your 1 in a million situation, if it ever even happened, haha.

Lol, if you really rolled over it with your car, I highly doubt you would have any PRG or CHR IC intact. Also, I sold thing on Ebay to people living in Mexico 2 or 3 time before and it didn't seem such an issue for them. You also have plenty of forum like Nintendo age where you can easily buy guy from user and Mega Man 6 is really not that expensive. Also, the fact that you seem to make up story won't make it easier for you to get help, specially on making reproduction of common game. Just go to bootgod's cart list and check the list of games using the same board/mapper and stop trying to make everybody cry with your stories

What was your son doing alone in the garage with your Mega Man 6 game in the first place

cinderglacius, can we have a proof pic of smashed cart? Legal ROM chips to be exact. Why not, you have it, do you?
P.S. this drama sounds different to compare with hot glue sculptures
