Metalslime's sound engine

Post by CareerOfEvil »

Does anyone else here use metalslime's sound engine? I just put it in my code, and whenever I load a sound, it causes significant lag and causes the subroutines in which they are called to act funny.

Well I seem to have solved the problem. But I'm just curious - does ANYONE use the sound engine at all?

I know that John White, creator of Assimilate, used it. And I definitely benefited from MetalSlime's tutorial, though my sound engine was made from the ground up and did not refer directly to his source.
